BERNARD HOPKINS
55-8-2
Hall of fame boxing icon Bernard Hopkins Jr. is truly one out of one. He is considered one of the most successful boxers of the past three decades, having held multiple world championships in two weight classes, including being the undisputed middleweight champion.
Nicknamed "The Executioner" “BHop” & later "The Alien" Hopkins has wins over Oscar De La Hoya and Felix Trinidad just to name a few.
In 2001 Hopkins was voted fighter of the year by ring magazine.
Bhop is also a very inspiring individual starting his pro career with a loss. Something that might have discouraged others, but not him. With hard work, perseverance, mental toughness, great defence & high IQ he went on to become the middleweight champion who had 20 title defences.
Hopkins is also the oldest boxer in history to win a world championship, at the age of 46. What’s even more impressive, is that he later broke his own record by winning titles at 48 and 49 years old.
These days Hopkins is mentoring young fighters and is a boxing promoter with Golden Boy promotions.
